What's Ideal? (Spit or Swallow)

With three of my friends, we all ganged up a bottle of strawberry lambanog, did not sleep until 4am.

Someone asked,

"what's ideal?"
Too hard of a question for three drunk bastards. One of us indulged into it, the other slept over it, and I, uhmm, my braincells were too sluggish and ambivalent whether I was drunk or sleepy.

----

If you see me holding a cup of coffee, would you assume that I also drink it?

We all have standards, we let them roam around the image of our ideal someone.

The coffee is ice-cold. I still hold it, i don't intend to drink it anyway!

Someone will come around, a cup of hot chocolate is most certainly welcome. But until then, I'll be holding this cup of coffee, just so I could pretend it's a hot choco.

----

When i want ideal, i just have to watch some Hollywood love flicks and romanticize with the people who make some good bucks bigger than the whole economy of Nepal.

I'd still watch it, even if I know that the girl will end up with the guy, or someone (99% of the time, the protagonist) gets the better-off end of the film.

----

So what's ideal? It is an absolute perfection, regarded standard, model of excellence, the ultimate exemplar. It is what reality is not...

The Phantom of Tears

Why do we let people come close to our heart, only to break it?

----------

We do not have control over the rain, the kind of news we'll get in the morning, how many stars will appear tonight, or how many will not.

The news will still come in the morning, we like it or not. The night sky will still be ruled by the luster of one star or billions of it. It will pour, it will rain, regardless if we have our raincoat on or not.

We cannot stop the rain, but we can snap out of it. As long as we know how much pouring we can take, we can run, under shelter, wash if we want, dry and change, in the hope that tomorrow will be a sunny day.

No one can tell how many times we'll laugh at an old joke or the way we undress our eyes with tears over one heartbreak. We may not have control over the things we feel, but we always have the command on the kind of people we allow to cause it.

----------

Why do we let people come close to our heart, only to break it?

Maybe, it is in the modest act of replete trust, that they simply won't.

Past Tense...

when is it alright to miss an ex?

is it wrong, in the first place?

I always had this rule not to contact, call, txt message, the least, an ex.

There's just no reason for it. What would be your business over the stuffs the person does?

But of course there is a big wall covering this rule, and an even bigger exemption on the other side of the wall (but I'm not going to rant about that).

It's simple, when you miss your ex, you just do. regardless if you're with someone already, or still nestling a broken heart. We miss people, our parents, our friends, our roomates, and sadly (or not really), our exes. It is when we act on this longing that I find foolish.

But it's always a person's call over his emotions, only, when you dwell on something uncertain, remember that the art of flying is not on taking flight, but on the ability of not falling.

Office Stupidity in God's Workplace

We are sophisticated yuppies in our ripe 20's who transform into old spinsters, government employees grieving about a bereaved system and those who ru(i)n it.

Each morning, I immerse myself to some chit-chats with my officemates whose morning habit is complaining about our other officemates' braincell diet.

---

I have a theological belief, more like an empirical theory(?)...alright, a conjecture!

When God created man, didn't He take a rest after? Was it in God's attempt, in good faith, that He could let the most intellectual being on Earth take charge of the rest of His creations?

God, one-time break huh? Now, You need to render overtime, for the 6.7 billion most intellectual beings on Earth. (wink)

---

When a person starts to talk about stupidity, does it make him smarter?

My Paking Questions...

Hi, I'm Paking. And I pack good!

Aside from packing, one thing, I am good at, asking.

So here's my blog. I do the asking. My Paking Questions!

Red Ribbon Aftermath

I feel six...errr...sick!

I woke up and came to work. I could almost feel the sun rising inside my throat.

I'm already at work and the sun hasn't set down. I guess that's just the way I put my sore throat.

P.S.

After melting a green goo inside my mouth, I still don't feel any better.
